Sorry for the real world wisdom here, but you’ll never be ”ready” for it, whatever ”it” is. Kids, PCEs, breaking up, a concert. I’m not saying be reckless and push ahead regardless, I’m just saying there’s a time for preparations and then there’s a time for getting off the sidelines and getting in the game

As long as you’re not doing brain surgery, strategic bombing or something equally irreversible there will always be time for corrections and do-overs.

You’re right! I’ve been waiting to feel fully 100% confident I’m going in the right direction to then be “ready” to allow a PCE to happen.

I guess I need to find out for myself with my own experiences if it is the right direction…

I would say to induce a PCE just maximize the having fun-ness of it all, that mood, and then ramp up the sensuousity. Something catches your eye that looks interesting? Take a closer look. Or hmm you are hearing a background noise now that you weren’t before? Sort of just curiously follow that marvel and amazement and you may find yourself having a PCE :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I would say just leave the worry if it’s right direction or not behind — go for having the experience (whatever you are having), then once it’s over you can look in hindsight and make an assessment. This will be a lot more fun, and you can’t really go wrong. So what if you think you are having a PCE but later determine you weren’t? It is really not a big deal. Also it may take several attempts and wrong ways and dead ends etc until you catch the whiff of it, it will be much easier to accept it as par for course and just keep going for it :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
