Since we’ve already established this aint a familiy show:
It’s time for some death rap:
Well if we have opened the floodgates…
Here is a sweet and tender track titled “Perpetuum Mobile”:
I think I have a slightly different music taste to you guys, but I personally find certain types of electronic music to be so great to delight in. They seem to lead me to that state of wonder and magic. Here is one of the mixes I tend to listen to alot and it never fails to bring that sense of wonder and delight - Coccolino Deep - Autumn in love - YouTube
In fact I always think I cannot wait to be free so these mixes can be appreciated fully
Hey, no way. Was just listening to Penguin Cafe
Oh I’ve been wanting to make a thread for “songs that could be about actualism if you’re not being too picky about it.”
Didn’t know him. Powerful lyrics…
Does it also make you cry at times?
Nope
This tune brings to mind the image of a sunrise. I like it for getting me into an actualist groove on PCE walks etc.
We should make a Spotify playlist of this thread
This is the sort of music my kids subject me to…so you’re welcome…
Well, at least as long as I am a feeling being, you have my compassion
I just realized it’s been close to 20 years since I first listened to the album Geogaddi, by Boards of Canada. I genuinely can’t identify the feeling I get from this.
That was a deeply uncomfortable 59 seconds @emp haha.
Whereas the Coconut Song was great, I don’t know what @son_of_bob is complaining about. Seems like an appropriate actual freedom song?
It has grown on me lol…
Only 22 songs remaining then!
A lot of their songs aren’t my cup of tea but I have Dayvan Cowboy on a couple of playlists. They were real trailblazers and influenced a ton of other artists. Kinda like Aphex Twin in that regard, not my cup of tea but they led the way for many other electronic artists to follow.
