For anyone reading this in the future, and in deliberate contradiction to a ‘self’ I was a scant 24 hours ago, there is no being “normal” happening in psychedelic experiences. There is only the eventual hubris of exactly what leads to extremely dangerous trips.
Although, I doubt this message will reach anyone needing to read it, I am writing it anyway.
You are correct to be wary of psychedelics. If you do go down that path, which you will, because who actually listens? Remember what “pure intent” is, above all else.
