Thank you again @Vineeto. I agree and I don’t mind at all if my posts and your replies appear on the actualfreedom.com.au website in the correspondence area.
In retrospective I tried to follow a scientific approach because it seemed like the right way to solve my problem. Counter-intuitively, once I knew where I really wanted to go and practiced consistently, the progress happened from a place where I didn’t think I had a problem to solve anymore…
Another crucial aspect for me turned out to be honesty. I can’t stress that enough. We deceive ourselves to think we are being honest when we’re not. The practice requires a complete honesty with myself that didn’t came naturally at all for me initially. Yet not only is it necessary it is completely possible and you may be under threat and forced to lie and still be completely honest with yourself.
In the end if you are honest it’s impossible not to see that it can only be simple and obvious. We’re the ones who make it complicated. Other people may also complicate it for me, either because they don’t know better or because they want to deceive me (or both), if I let them…
Finally a comment: forums like this one are groups. There’s nothing wrong with joining a group, if it serves a practical purpose. But I think there’s danger in letting it become something more to you (as in becoming a part of yourself). I think this is true for any group of any size and shape.
Seems obvious but it’s hard to arrive at the obvious and the simple and I know I’m not the only one making these mistakes.
