You did it all. All the wonderful things in your reports. There was no “geoffrey” there who did and thought and strategized and caused. That “geoffrey” in your reports was mostly an absence - that of the feeling being, that of the identity. Which is why it is most fitting how he appears only implicitly, as if from the outside, formed of his outlines, or ‘emerging in the negative’: an absence you circled around, you felt, and sometimes you found.

What a wonderful description, I was contemplating yesterday on what you initially wrote - “emerging in negative”, I spoke to Sonya about how I saw it as a great song. Initially using the beats to form the melody and then an artistically placed silence… A space in between the beats, the absence of sound which itself provides such a fullness to the experience. In the same way it was the absence of the feeling being and the identity towards which we were drawn existentially, and that is where the actual was glimpsed.

Although my description could give an impression of some ‘void’ of spiritual tradition - it is not that.
