The same “crazy” exists at both ends of the music spectrum.

Daniel was a very disturbed young man raised in Christianity and writing some of the most haunted songs ever, Kanye, no idea where he was raised, but I see the same genius writing in both.

The bizarre nature of the psyche and the way music in western culture has evolved; really really bizarre.

To echo @Shashank , it’s the “loving” end of the spectrum which is the more powerful.

Even though the hateful and angry seems more dangerous, it’s carrot has always been the same delusions of “love” being the ultimate prize.
