It’s a sad state of affairs that anything not in the mainstream is subject to blocking just for the fact that it isn’t already accepted by the mainstream…
haha…but I think its just marking the AFT under Alternate Beliefs category so that may not be the reason for the block and the reason for block might be something else…like maybe Fortiguard’s algo is erroneously detecting it as a malicious site for instance ?
I’ve submitted an appeal on the grounds that it’s not spiritual and has nothing to do with spells or curses or any other such thing. We’ll see what they say.
The result of my appeal is that – they leave it as the same category lol.
That being said it looks like they categorize any website into one of these categories, then it’s up to their user of what categories they want to block. For some reason the hotel wanted to block any site with “Alternative Beliefs”, so that’s what happened. But it looks like the AFT site in particular wasn’t targeted. Probably they have some automated AI detection, it falsely detects it as a spiritual site, and labels it ‘Alternative’.
I appreciate your investigation.
This “Alternative Beliefs” category is so widely ‘defined’ and one can fit any “practices” … “that promote or offer methods, means of instruction, or other resources” into this category, even though actualism has nothing at all to do with “spells, curses, magic powers, satanic or supernatural beings”.
C’est la vie!

@claudiu Oh true ok! Regarding SSL, I still get a flag about security every time I visit the website. The http addresses should ideally all be 301 redirected to the https version of the website
