Thin on the ground

I’ve heard Richard use the term that it gets ‘thin on the ground’. I don’t know exactly what he means but I have an inkling based on my own experience. I think he means that along this path there becomes fewer and fewer people to relate to. At this point there is no one I can relate to about actualism matters. I had one old friend who is a philosophy professor and we met for breakfast. He has no interest in actualism and ended up trying to convert me to religion. I was going to a weekly breakfast with some old high school pals and it seems like they are persecuting me for being a non believer. I quit going. They think something is wrong with me for being a non believer.

Yeah I think this is par for the course…At some place, Richard said something like “fancy being ridiculed or ostracised”
